HISTORY AND PROFILE

The establishment of the college have been approved by the Minister of Education as a Higher Learning Private Institution (IPTS) on the 11 July 1997 with the name “INSITUT YAYASAN ALOR GAJAH”. It also has been registered with the Registry of Melaka schools on the 29 September 1997.

With the expansion and increasing of equipment’s and teaching staff, “INSTITUT YAYASAN MELAKA” officially renamed “KOLEJ TEKNOLOGI YAYASAN ALOR GAJAH” on 11 May 2002 which is known as KT-YAGA. Through the development of higher education realm, KT-YAGA was taken over in late 2009 by a strong name in the higher education sector, KN Education. Sdn. Bhd. Various improvements and reforms achieved under this management, including the change of name to Unifield Technology College institution which was approved by the Ministry of Higher Education on 06 January 2011. In addition, our institution making our way to carry out its own programmed of Diploma in Business Management and Diploma in Hotel Management.

In line with the vision of the college, once again rebranding has been made and formal approval on 11 March 2013 and the college is now known as UNIFIELD INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE (UIC). It is situated on a 520 hectares integrated resorts in the south-west Malacca Historic State, A’Famosa Resort.
